The ground rules for using AstuTech

AstuTech is an independent, unofficial, fan-made private server. It has no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement from the game's parent company, its subsidiaries, or its representatives.

• All game assets, characters, items, and intellectual property belong to the game's parent companies, the original creators, and the rights holders.
• This server exists only for preview, testing, and educational purposes.
• We claim no ownership over the game or any of its assets. What we run is a preview environment, nothing more.

Our server lets you preview and test new game items, outfits, and features before they reach the official server, so you get a feel for what you might want.

• Try items and outfits early, then plan your real purchases on the official server with a clearer idea of what you like.
• Make content featuring in-game items. It is good exposure for the items and helps both communities.
• Have fun with it, but try not to get too attached. It does not replace the reliability of the real server.

To keep the community fair, honest, and safe, every user needs to follow these rules. Breaking them leads to an immediate suspension on our platform.

Strictly prohibited

• Scamming and fraud: using the server to deceive, trick, or scam people by passing items or features off as part of the official game. This covers scambaiting, phishing, and any other kind of deception.
• Impersonation: pretending to be an official Game Master (GM), Community Manager (CM), Key Opinion Leader (KOL), or staff member, including through features like V-Badges or GM Badges.
• Misleading content: claiming private server content is official, posting it as a "leak" of upcoming updates, or tagging official accounts and staff in private server posts.
• Sharing in official spaces: posting screenshots, videos, clips, or any of our content in official groups, Discord servers, Facebook pages, or communities run by official CMs and GMs. It causes confusion and breaks their community guidelines.
• Selling accounts or items: selling, trading, or exchanging accounts, dashboard access, virtual items, or any related service for real money or other perks. Everything here is free and meant for testing.
• Hacking and exploits: using cheats, hacks, exploits, modified clients, or any unauthorised tools to disrupt the server or gain an unfair edge.
• Malicious behaviour: DDoS attacks, spreading malware, probing our security, or anything else that harms our infrastructure or other users.

Restricted

• Unfair comparisons: comparing private server items or features against the official servers in a way that sets misleading expectations or runs down the official game.
• Spam and abuse: flooding the server, dashboard, or support channels with repeated requests, messages, or actions meant to disrupt things.
• Harassment: bullying, threatening, or harassing other users, staff, or community members.
• Inappropriate content: sharing material that is offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise against community standards.
• Multi-accounting abuse: making multiple accounts to dodge limits, exploit systems, or get around bans.

You need to be at least 16 years old to use AstuTech. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 16, please do not create an account or use our services.

When you create an account, you take responsibility for the following:

• Account security: keep your login (Google or Discord OAuth) private and secure. Do not hand your account access to anyone.
• Binding verification: complete the in-game verification honestly, so it genuinely confirms you own the game account you are binding.
• Security issues: email us right away at [email protected] if you spot unauthorised access or anything that looks off.

Account actions: we reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently disable accounts that break these terms.

Your privacy and data security matter to us, and we work to protect your information:

• Secure storage: user data sits in encrypted databases with standard security measures in place.
• OAuth security: we sign you in through Google or Discord OAuth, so your passwords are never shared with us or stored on our servers.
• No data misuse: we will never sell, share, or misuse your personal information. It is only used to run the service and keep it secure.
• Transparency: our Privacy Policy lays out exactly what we collect and how we protect it.
• Your control: you can request deletion of your data at any time from Dashboard, More Options, Delete My Data.
• Security measures: we use IP-based rate limiting, bot detection, and security monitoring to fight abuse while keeping the data we collect to a minimum.

AstuTech is a completely free preview platform. Here is how the virtual currency works:

Ads: we may show advertisements to help cover hosting and maintenance. We only place ads on our own sites and social channels. We never put ads inside the game itself, under any circumstances. Ad revenue goes toward server and bandwidth costs, not profit.

Service interruptions: we may need to pause, restart, or update the server without notice for:

• Maintenance, updates, and bug fixes
• Security patches and infrastructure improvements
• Emergency troubleshooting
• Performance tuning
• Rolling out new features

No service level agreement: we make no promises about uptime, availability, or performance. This is a community project, not a commercial service. We will do our best to keep things running smoothly.

By using AstuTech, you understand and accept the following.

We put real effort into a stable, secure, and enjoyable experience, but technical issues, bugs, glitches, or data inconsistencies can still happen. We are not liable for:

• Loss of account progress or virtual items on our server
• Service interruptions, downtime, or loss of access
• Bugs, glitches, or technical issues that affect gameplay

Use at your own risk: you use AstuTech entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for:

• What happens if you share our content in official spaces, which already goes against these terms
• Possible breaches of the official game's terms of service
• Confusion or misunderstandings caused by private server content
• The actions of other users who break these terms, though we do monitor and act on them firmly

All game-related content, assets, trademarks, and intellectual property shown on our servers belongs entirely to the respective company and owners. We claim no ownership of:

• Game assets, characters, items, or designs
• Official logos, trademarks, or branding
• Game mechanics, systems, or proprietary technology

Our platform: the AstuTech dashboard, our server code, and our custom implementations are our own work. The game content itself stays the property of the original rights holders.

We take violations of these terms seriously. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may issue a warning, restrict features, suspend the account, or ban it permanently.

Appeals: if you think your account was suspended or banned unfairly, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with the details and any evidence. We review appeals fairly, but the final decision rests with us.

We may update these Terms of Service now and then to keep up with changes to the service, new requirements, or community standards. When we make a significant change:

• The effective date at the top gets updated.
• Major changes may be announced through dashboard notifications or email.
• Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

We suggest checking back on these terms now and then, so you stay up to date on your rights and responsibilities.

Our service works alongside a few third-party platforms:

• OAuth providers: Google and Discord, for secure login. Each has its own terms and privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: for security, DDoS protection, and bot detection.
• Hosting providers: for server infrastructure and data storage.

We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or actions of these third parties. Using them falls under their own terms.
